The real performance improvement of the second-generation 1206 has made it a professional competition-grade steering gear.

At the same time, in order to meet the needs of the drifting and racing market, the 1206 G3 is divided into two versions at the factory: drifting version (DS) and racing version (RS).

In order to reduce the jitter caused by the combination of the rear-drive drift frame and the gyroscope, the front section of the drift version is set relatively softly, which can effectively filter excess jitter. There is a "Drift Spec" label on the outside of the box.

The racing version is more in line with the extreme use of professional competitions, the front section is relatively more violent, and the steering gear responds more closely. There is a "Race Spec" label on the outside of the box.

The main functions of this capacitor group are: voltage stabilization + filtering (anti-interference)

1. Voltage stabilization: Reduce the voltage fluctuation on the receiver, improve the heating of the ESC output voltage stabilization module, and improve the power grab effect caused by unstable power supply of the ESC or excessive consumption of the steering gear. For specific manifestations, please refer to the following symptoms :

The steering gear swings at a slow speed without failure. When the steering gear swings at a high speed or encounters resistance, the indicator light of the receiver will be dimmed or even cut off instantaneously.

***The above improvements are limited. If your ESC power supply is too low, or the consumption of the steering gear has greatly exceeded the ESC power supply, the capacitor bank can only improve the power grabbing phenomenon to a limited extent, and cannot completely eliminate it.

2. Filtering (anti-interference): Some ESCs with impure power supply (commonly found in some brands and the like) may cause additional actions on other channels on the receiver as the throttle changes, for example, the steering gear also swings when suddenly refueling. (At the same time, if the power supply of the ESC interferes with the neutral signal of the receiver, the capacitor may also reduce the jitter of the servo in the neutral position, but this is relative)
